"Grooving Galuchat" is a luxury series showcasing the natural brilliance unique to stingray leather across its entire surface.
The exterior appears as though covered with countless glass beads in varying sizes, creating a distinctive and luminous texture.
Although stingray leather is exceptionally hard and difficult to work with, this series employs an advanced technique known as "grooving", in which shallow guide channels are carefully carved into the surface before stitching.
This allows for perfectly straight, beautiful seams, giving each piece a refined and precise appearance.
At the center of the cover is the signature star mark, a natural feature that appears only once on each stingray.
The bead pattern and shape of the star mark vary from piece to piece, making every item truly one of a kind.
This series uses red stingray leather, a rare material prized overseas and often referred to as the “Lucky Fish.”
Hard-wearing, highly durable, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant, it is a material whose beauty endures over time.
It also features ASHFORD’s exclusive "Square Back" construction, designed to open fully flat to 180 degrees for smooth writing and easy closing.
The leather is deeply dyed throughout and offered in a wide range of rich color options.
